Baseball Recap: Southwest Onslow Comes Up Short

Southwest Onslow and Ayden - Grifton squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Southwest Onslow had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2. The Stallions' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.

Tyler Randolph was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Southwest Onslow's defeat dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Ayden - Grifton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Southwest Onslow does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ayden - Grifton, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Midway on the 9th.
