Football Recap: Rittman Takes a Loss

If Rittman was riding high fresh off their 28-0 takedown of Chippewa last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians lost 27-7 to the Dalton Bulldogs on Friday. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Rittman's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Dalton, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Rittman will take on rival Smithville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Indians 13.1, the Smithies 13.6) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Dalton is set to square off against their familiar foe Norwayne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
