Basketball Recap: San Jacinto Valley Academy Wins Going Away Against Saint Jeanne De Lestonnac Catholic School

San Jacinto Valley Academy's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They took down the Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School Mustangs 59-45. The Wolves pushed the score to 44-23 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mustangs cut but never quite recovered from.

San Jacinto Valley Academy can attribute much of their success to Day Edwards, who posted 21 points. Carter Kelly was another key player, putting up 13 points.

San Jacinto Valley Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-12. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

San Jacinto Valley Academy will head out on the road to challenge Nuview Bridge at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School, they will welcome Desert Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Desert Christian Academy will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Saint Jeanne de Lestonnac Catholic School surely won't give up without a fight.
