Baseball Recap: Connally Comes Up Short

Connally was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the University Trojans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-7 on Tuesday.

Connally's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for University, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Connally does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for University, they will take on Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. University is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.
