Basketball Recap: Mize Takes a Loss

Mize was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Heidelberg Oilers, falling 69-31. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Oilers from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Mize's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Heidelberg, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10.

Mize won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Northeast Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Heidelberg, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll challenge Raleigh at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
