Volleyball Recap: Longwood Comes Up Short

Longwood lost against Bay Shore back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Lions fell just short of the Marauders by a score of 3-2. While the Lions didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Marauders 25-19 in the first set.

Longwood started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 23-25, 25-17, 25-13, 15-11.

Longwood's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bay Shore, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-3-1.

As of now, neither Longwood nor the Marauders have any future games scheduled.
