Basketball Recap: Dugway Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dugway can now relate to. They were beaten by the Wendover Wildcats 79-25 on Saturday. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 40-9.

Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Gary Williams Jr, who posted ten points.

Dugway's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Wendover, their victory bumped their record up to 8-16.

Dugway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wendover, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats duke it out with the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Panguitch will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Wendover surely won't give up without a fight.
