Baseball Recap: Del Sol Comes Up Short

After flying high against Valley on Monday, Del Sol came back down to earth. The Del Sol Dragons came up short against the Cheyenne Desert Shields on Tuesday, falling 9-1. The Dragons haven't had much luck with the Desert Shields recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Del Sol saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Marco Guzzo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Del Sol's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Cheyenne, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

While Del Sol had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
