Deerfield Beach was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Blanche Ely. The Bucks came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 43 last week.

Monarch moved up to 143 from 199 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 8A District 11. The Knights climbed the ranks as a result of besting Nova 49-28.

Douglas's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brett Israel threw for 229 and 2 touchdowns and Tate Lehtio had 106 yards receiving. On the ground Israel chipped in 83 yards. Khalil Herbert helped Douglas' passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 74 yards.

Willis May's team's dynamic duo of Israel and Lehtio proved tough for South Broward to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
