Basketball Game Preview: Grant Generals vs. South Salem Saxons

The Grant Generals will take on the South Salem Saxons in a tournament on Friday. South Salem took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Grant, who comes in off a win.

Last Saturday, Grant was able to grind out a solid victory over Canby, taking the game 50-43.

Meanwhile, South Salem didn't have quite enough to beat Grants Pass on Saturday and fell 58-56. While losing is never fun, the Saxons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Cavemen are ranked sixth).

South Salem's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Grant, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.
