Softball Recap: Male Takes Down Ranked Harrison County

Male faced Harrison County in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Bulldogs won by a run and slipped past the Thorobreds/Fillies 8-7. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Thorobreds/Fillies, too.

Male has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Harrison County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 27-5 record this season.
