St. Johns lost to Pima back in November of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Redskins snuck past the Roughriders with a 16-12 win. Those 16 points were actually the fewest the Redskins have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

The critical scores for St. Johns came from Sam Winters and Jude Raban.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something St. Johns proved: they limited Pima to a paltry 1.2 yards per carry. While three picked up at least four total tackles, Winters stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made four total tackles (2.5 for loss). St. Johns didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 5.5.

St. Johns' defense didn't let Ryett Mcbiles., get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Winters, Raban, and Malachi West, who each picked up one sack apiece.

St. Johns' victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Pima, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.
