The Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit Jaguars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Lutheran at home and fell 81-51. Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit lost against Lutheran in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 72-62 score last time.
Christian Fontaine was on fire for Lutheran: he dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Fontaine has scored at least 25% of Lutheran's points. Another player making a difference was Nate Rooker, who scored 24 points.
Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Frankel Jewish Academy of Metro Detroit will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Novi Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 19th. As for Lutheran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cabrini at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
