Basketball Game Preview: Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes vs. Wethersfield Flying Geese

The Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes will face off against the Wethersfield Flying Geese at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Abingdon/Avon will be strutting in after a victory while Wethersfield will be coming in after a loss.

On Tuesday, Abingdon/Avon strolled past Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] with points to spare, taking the game 68-53.

Meanwhile, Wethersfield played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 58-34 to Annawan. The Flying Geese haven't had much luck with the Braves/Bravettes recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
