KIPP Austin Brave is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game dating back to last season on January 7th. They had to suffer through a 81-0 loss at the hands of Valor South Austin. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in November of 2024.

The win (which was Valor South Austin's 12th in a row) raised their record to 20-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.2 points. As for KIPP Austin Brave, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
