Basketball Recap: Klahowya Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Saturday. Klahowya took a 46-31 bruising from Life Christian Academy. Klahowya was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Life Christian Academy earlier this season, when they won 62-53.

When it comes to explaining why Klahowya lost, don't look at Shyanne Kilmer. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Kilmer a new career-high in blocks (six). McKenna Sullivan also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Klahowya's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Life Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Klahowya does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Life Christian Academy, they will square off against Bellevue Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Bellevue Christian sitting on 13 straight wins and Life Christian Academy on six.
