If Blair was riding high fresh off their 11-4 takedown of Kennedy on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Blazers took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Walter Johnson Wildcats on Thursday. The Blazers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Blair got a good showing from Eamon Turner, who tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Turner has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Blair saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Schulz, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
