Softball Recap: Chandler Lions vs. Henryetta Knights        
        
		
             Chandler entered their tilt with Henryetta on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with 12. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Henryetta Knights  a   7-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 12 games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Kennedy Allen made a big impact no matter where she played. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. That's the most  hits  she has posted since  back in September of 2023. She was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-3 with four  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Jaylee Ventris was  excellent,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.  Brenlee Corea was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 Chandler  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. They are  a perfect 8-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
 Chandler's victory was  their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 23-1. As for Henryetta,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-10.
 Coincidentally,  both  will both be playing Oktaha the next time they take the field. Henryetta will head out to face Oktaha at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday, while Chandler will  host them  at 12:00  p.m.  on Friday.
