Clover won the last time they faced Northwestern, and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Clover Blue Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Northwestern Trojans.
Clover was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-15, 23-25, 25-10, 25-11.
Clover was led to victory by Elayna Rickmon and Bryn Turlington. Rickmon had 20 digs, while Turlington had nine digs. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: Rickmon now had ten or more in the last eight games she's played dating back to last season.
Clover was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwestern only served three.
