Winston Salem Christian National won against 1 of 1 Academy last Monday with 69 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Saturday. The Winston Salem Christian National Lions blew past the Virginia Academy Patriots 69-49. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Winston Salem Christian National was led to victory by Jocelyne Grier and Kylie Torrence. Grier went 10 for 20 en route to 28 points, while Torrence dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards. Grier is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Brianna Carelock, who posted ten points and eight assists.

The win (which was Winston Salem Christian National's fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Virginia Academy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-6.

Winston Salem Christian National will be taking part in a tournament against Cherokee at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Cherokee's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Virginia Academy has already played their next game, a 72-42 loss against Shining Star Sports Academy on the 19th.
