Basketball Game Preview: Evergreen Wolverines vs. Chief Sealth Seahawks

Evergreen hasn't had much luck against Chief Sealth recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Evergreen Wolverines will square off against the Chief Sealth Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Saturday, Evergreen came up short against Nathan Hale and fell 79-68. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Monday (62), the Wolverines still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Chief Sealth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 69-68 heartbreaker at the hands of Renton.

Evergreen's loss dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Chief Sealth, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-17.

Things could have been worse for Evergreen, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 74-59 loss to Chief Sealth when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Evergreen avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
