Softball Recap: Columbus Has No Trouble Against Cut Bank

Columbus never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 23-0 margin over the Cut Bank Wolves. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 15-10 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Columbus has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 16.0 runs this season. As for Cut Bank, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Columbus is headed away from home for the first time to take on Non Varsity Opponent at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cut Bank, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shepherd at 11:30 a.m. on April 11.
