Cascade entered their tilt with North Marion on Thursday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 11-1 win. That's two games straight that the Cougars have won by exactly ten runs.

The team relied heavily on Amyah Miranda, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Pearl Pruett, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Cascade's record is now 11-5. As for North Marion, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cascade will challenge rival Sweet Home at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Marion is set to square off against their familiar foe Newport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
