Baseball Recap: San Elizario Takes a Loss

San Elizario and Ysleta squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but San Elizario had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 18-0 to the Indians, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

San Elizario's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Ysleta, the victory was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-13.

While San Elizario had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
