Soccer Game Preview: Upper Perkiomen vs. Owen J. Roberts

Upper Perkiomen hasn't had much luck against Owen J. Roberts recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Indians will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Owen J. Roberts took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Upper Perkiomen, who comes in off a win.

Upper Perkiomen barely beat Fleetwood the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Indians were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Tigers on Saturday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Upper Perkiomen's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Owen J. Roberts managed to keep up with Rutgers Prep until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Argonauts. While losing is never fun, Owen J. Roberts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 82nd in Pennsylvania, while Rutgers Prep are ranked sixth in New Jersey).

Upper Perkiomen's win bumped their record up to 4-7-3. As for Owen J. Roberts, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5-1.

Upper Perkiomen suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Owen J. Roberts in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
