Recap: Glens Falls Indians vs. Lake George Lakers
The Glens Falls Indians waltzed into their matchup Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 68-31 victory over Lake George. Glens Falls might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four games by 20 points or more this season.
Glens Falls found their leader in underclassman Piper Eddy, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Carolyn Lunt, who scored ten points.
Glens Falls' victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Lake George, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glens Falls has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Broadalbin-Perth at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Broadalbin-Perth is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. As for Lake George, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Ticonderoga at 7:00 p.m. Ticonderoga presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Lake George in New York (Ticonderoga is ranked 111th, while Lake George is ranked 501st).
