Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pocahontas County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They snuck past Meadow Bridge with a 51-45 win on Friday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pendleton County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 11-4. As for Pocahontas County, their win bumped their record up to 4-11.
