Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hickory Flat). They managed an 80-75 win over the Walnut Wildcats on Monday. The Rebels have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Despite the loss, Walnut still got an impressive performance from Logan Wilbanks, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 35 points. That was a full 46.7% of the Wildcats' points, marking the fifth time in a row Wilbanks has posted more than a third of the team's points. Weston Bayless was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to nine steals and seven assists.

Hickory Flat's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Walnut, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.
