Basketball Recap: Green Hill Hawks vs. Lebanon Blue Devils
Green Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-44 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lebanon Blue Devils. The Hawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.
Green Hill's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lebanon, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Green Hill and Rockvale will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockvale knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Green Hill likes a good challenge. As for Lebanon, they will be home for the holidays to greet Cannon County at 4:00 p.m. on December 20th.
