Soccer Game Preview: Woodside vs. Saint Francis

Woodside hasn't had much luck against Saint Francis recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wildcats will venture away from home to face off against the Lancers at 7:00 p.m. Woodside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Thursday. Woodside and Los Gatos finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) marked Woodside's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Kaylie McKee, who's now up to two this season.

Meanwhile, Saint Francis was able to grind out a solid victory over Los Gatos on Saturday, taking the game 3-1. Saint Francis haven't had any issues with Los Gatos recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Saint Francis' victory bumped their record up to 2-0. Woodside's draw gives them a new season record of 3-0-1.

Woodside suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Saint Francis in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
