Baseball Recap: Memphis Takes a Loss

Memphis lost against Clarendon back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cyclones fell just short of the Broncos by a score of 13-12.

Memphis now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Clarendon, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memphis will welcome Quanah at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cyclones are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Clarendon, they will be playing at home against Floydada at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Broncos will also cruise into their next contest with the timing on their side: the Whirlwinds will have lost three straight heading into Tuesday's matchup.
