Freeman never got on the board in their matchup on Friday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Hermitage on Tuesday. They blew past the Panthers 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Mavericks, who have now won eight games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Highland Springs' loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Freeman, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-5.
