Softball Recap: Northridge Takes a Loss

Northridge lost against Heath back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 14-1. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured 16 defeats in a row.

Kaylee Goodwin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Northridge's record is now 4-18. As for Heath, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Northridge will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Francis DeSales at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Stallions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.38 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of. Heath does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
