Basketball Recap: New Brunswick Takes a Loss

New Brunswick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were dealt a 57-30 loss at the hands of the Edison Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Zebra this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-34 back in January.

New Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Edison, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.

New Brunswick will square off against J.P. Stevens at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Edison, they will take on Perth Amboy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
