Volleyball Recap: Granbury Pirates vs. Aledo Bearcats
Granbury lost against Aledo back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Granbury Pirates came up short against the Aledo Bearcats, falling 3-0. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Aledo to victory were Ella Meador and Kenrie Pruitt. Meador had 16 digs, while Pruitt had 13 digs. Pruitt is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 12 games she's played dating back to last season.
Granbury's loss dropped their record down to 22-19. As for Aledo, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 26-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granbury will challenge Fossil Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fossil Ridge is coming into the matchup with five straight wins at home, so Granbury will have to stop a team with plenty of momentum. As for Aledo, they will take on Saginaw at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Aledo is facing Saginaw at the right time seeing as Saginaw is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
