Football Game Recap: Osceola vs. Walnut Ridge

Osceola won the last time they faced Walnut Ridge, and things went their way on Friday, too. Osceola took the matchup and then some with a 49-14 victory over Walnut Ridge. The success made it back-to-back wins for Osceola.

Osceola started the match off right with 28 first-half points. Walnut Ridge countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 28-7 going into the half. Osceola put the game away in the third quarter with 13 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 3-2. The defeat dropped Walnut Ridge's record to 3-2.

Next week Osceola take on Manila at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. Walnut Ridge will look to defend their home turf against Piggott at 7:00 PM.
