Baseball Recap: Booker T. Washington Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Booker T. Washington can now relate to. They came up short against the Escambia Gators on Tuesday, falling 9-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-1 back in February.

Booker T. Washington has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season. As for Escambia, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 20-5.

Booker T. Washington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Escambia, they will be playing at home against Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Gators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
