Derwin Fields was dynamite on Friday, picking up two sacks, making six total tackles, and defending one pass. As if that's not impressive enough, the matchup was his third in a row with one or more sacks. For the year, he has averaged 4.8 total tackles per game and for the season has 9 sacks.

Fields and Brookhaven will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Laurel at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Panthers have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since October of 2015, but a win here would be a good start.
