Soccer Game Preview: Stansbury vs. Park City

The Stansbury Stallions will head out to face off against the Park City Miners at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stansbury's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Stansbury hadn't beaten Tooele on the road since May 4, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Friday. The Stallions had just enough and edged out the Buffaloes 2-1. That's two games straight that Stansbury have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Park City made sure to put some goals up on the board against Jordan on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Beetdiggers with a sharp 4-1 victory. Park City haven't had any issues with Jordan recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Stansbury is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those five contests. As for Park City, their record now sits at 6-7.
