Basketball Recap: Sumner Takes a Loss

Sumner lost to Lakeshore back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cowboys took a blow against Lakeshore, falling 82-26. The game marked the Cowboys' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Sumner and nudges their season record down to 1-8. As for Lakeshore, their win bumped their record up to 13-6.

Looking ahead, Sumner will square off against Kentwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lakeshore, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 47-46 loss against St. Martin's Episcopal on the 8th.
