Cooper took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Boles, posting a 56-8 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Como-Pickton's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were dealt a 53-19 loss at the hands of Honey Grove.

Como-Pickton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Cooper, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.

Everything came up roses for Cooper against Como-Pickton in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 56-14 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
