Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bloom). They blew past the Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus Ravens 22-0 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Blazing Trojan, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

D'Majae Montgomery made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Bloom: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-11 otherwise.

In other batting news, Dan Williams was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Mateo Munoz was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

Bloom was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .588. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in four consecutive games.

Bloom is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-9.
