Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Sema'j Law and Hakeem Winston Lead Mobile Christian to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against LeFlore, Mobile Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They secured a 64-60 W over the Faith Academy Rams. For the Leopards, this counts as revenge for the 68-51 win the Rams walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.

Leading Mobile Christian to victory were Hakeem Winston and Sema'J Law. Winston went 8 of 14 en route to 24 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Law went 9 for 17 on his way to 21 points. Law's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rico Prince, who posted seven points and six rebounds.

Mobile Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matches.

Mobile Christian now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Faith Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Mobile Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 60-46 defeat against Murphy on the 10th. As for Faith Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 59-53 victory against Robertsdale on the 10th.
