Volleyball Recap: Southern Guilford Takes a Loss

Southern Guilford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Ragsdale Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Tuesday.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-6, 26-16, 25-15.

Southern Guilford's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ragsdale, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Southern Guilford will challenge High Point Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ragsdale, they will take on Southeast Guilford at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight.
