Basketball Game Preview: Wes-Del Warriors vs. Shenandoah Raiders

Wes-Del is 0-8 against Shenandoah since January of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Wes-Del Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Shenandoah Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Wes-Del is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.6 points per game this season.

Wes-Del saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They received a blow as they fell 66-50 to Yorktown.

Wes-Del's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Josiah Love, who went 9 for 17 on his way to 23 points and six rebounds, and Julian Carpenter, who posted 12 points.

Shenandoah has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-53 heartbreaker at the hands of Monroe Central.

Shenandoah's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-4. As for Wes-Del, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
