Basketball Recap: Khloe Moye's Big Game Can't Quite Lead North Raleigh Christian Academy over Wesleyan Christian Academy

North Raleigh Christian Academy suffered their biggest defeat since December 7, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans, falling 72-51. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Khloe Moye, who went 7 for 14 en route to 19 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Haven Welch, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 16 points.

It was another big night for Cooper Cox, who went 9 for 13 to rack up 25 points along with five rebounds and four steals for Wesleyan Christian Academy. Those 25 points gave Cox a new career-high. Blythe Cunningham was another key player, going 6 of 15 en route to 15 points.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Wesleyan Christian Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 23-6.

As of now, neither North Raleigh Christian Academy nor Wesleyan Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
