Moses Lake is a perfect 10-0 against Eisenhower since May of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Moses Lake will host Eisenhower at 5:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Eisenhower will be up against a hot Moses Lake team: the squad just extended their winning streak to three. Moses Lake was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Southridge on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Mavericks, who have now won three contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Paige Richardson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that she hit this season.
In other batting news, Moses Lake let Hayden Morris and Caitlin Decubber run wild. Morris scored two runs while going 4-for-5, while Decubber scored two runs while going 3-for-4. Addi Reffett was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.
Moses Lake was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eisenhower). Everything went their way against Naches Valley on Wednesday as Eisenhower made off with an 18-7 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cadets.
Thalia Garza and Zabella Hickenbottom did most of the damage at the plate: Garza went 3-for-4 with five RBI, three runs, and two doubles, while Hickenbottom got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most hits Garza has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoe Niblett, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.
Moses Lake's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 21.67 hits in those games compared to only 5.33 in the others. As for Eisenhower, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Everything went Moses Lake's way against Eisenhower in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Moses Lake made off with a 14-4 victory. Does Moses Lake have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eisenhower turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
