Chatham is 0-10 against Gretna since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Cavaliers will face off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

Chatham took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand William Campbell a 36-0 shutout. That 36 point margin sets a new team best for the Cavaliers this season.

Chatham's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jacob Vanderhyde, who rushed for 90 yards and one TD on only nine carries, and also threw for 41 yards and one touchdown.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Chatham proved: they limited William Campbell to a paltry 0.8 yards per carry. The Cavaliers didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.6.

Meanwhile, Gretna waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Wildcats 56-28. Considering the Hawks have won four games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Chatham better focus on containing Khalil Waller and Rayshaun Logan as the pair were huge in Gretna's win. Waller rushed for 326 yards and three scores while picking up 8.6 yards per carry, while Logan rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Those 135 rushing yards gave Logan a new career-high. Gretna also got help from Tysen Miller, who showed off his sure hands for 82 receiving yards.

Gretna didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off five passes before the game was over. Ja'Marion Jones-Carter led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself.
