Volleyball Recap: Georgetown Visitation Prep Takes a Loss

The Georgetown Visitation Prep Cubs didn't have quite enough to beat the Oakton Cougars on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Jocelyn Gill paced Georgetown Visitation Prep's offense, picking up nine kills. Gill got some help from Sadie Fester and her 20 assists. Francesca Bon Salle controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Georgetown Visitation Prep's loss dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Oakton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Georgetown Visitation Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Episcopal on the 30th. As for Oakton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Flint Hill on the 27th.
