Soccer Recap: Sun Valley Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sun Valley can now relate to. They came up short against the Lake Norman Wildcats on Monday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Sun Valley were already down 3-0.

Sun Valley is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8-2. As for Lake Norman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

Sun Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lake Norman, they will square off against Hough at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hough will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Lake Norman surely won't give up without a fight.
